My daughter has a ASUS Chromebook (C223N) which has been working fine until yesterday when she plugged in a DVD drive and it swtiched off. Since then nothing I do will turn it back on. I've tried: Holding down the power key for 30/60 seconds. Holding down the Power Key and the Refresh (F3) Key. Holding down the Esc, Refresh and the Power Key. Usually you have to press & hold Fn and one of the F keys at the top. It should have a symbol that looks like a monitor. This is more for battery problems, but try turning it off, unplugging it, removing the battery, and holding the power button back for 30 seconds. Then plug it back in and see if it'll boot.
